This weekend marks the premiere of not one but two European web series festivals. Roma Web Fest in Rome and the Raindance Web Fest, which is being launched as part of the prestigious Raindance Film Festival in London.
We’re chuffed to have two of our web series creators being showcased at the festival, the Bloody Mary Show and The Vessel. Also attending the festival will be two members of the BuzzMyVideos team to take part in several panel discussion.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]You can watch the Bloody Mary Show at 12:30pm on Saturday, 28th September as part of the festival’s British Web Series programme. Stick around afterwards to hear Bloody Mary Show’s creator Darren Chadwick-Hussein and The Vessel’s Phillip Whiteman speak on a panel about how their series were made.
The Vessel will be screening in the Know Your Niche, Know Your Audience at 5:30pm on Sunday, 29th September, which will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Chloe Seddon from The Vessel.

BuzzMyVideos’ Director of Business Operations and Audience Development Bengu Atamer will be acting as moderator and it promises to be an enlightening talk.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column_text] [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]We also recommend checking out Raindance’s regular pitching event, with a web series spin, on Sunday, 29th September at 10:30am called Web Series Live! Ammunition! The best pitch on the day walks away with hard cold cash! The panel of judges includes the Bloody Mary Show’s Darren Chadwick-Hussein and BuzzMyVideos’ Audience Development/Partner Manager Brett Snelgrove alongside of a host of other talented folks.
To round out your Raindance Web Fest experience, pop along at 8pm on Sunday, 29th September to watch the animated web comedy New Eden, co-created by BuzzMyVideos’ Brett Snelgrove. Afterwards you can hear him talk alongside some fellow talented creators about What Web Series Creators Can Learn From YouTubers.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The Raindance Web Fest is being held at the VUE Cinema in Piccadilly Circus (19 Lower Regent Street, SW1Y 4LR). Tickets are £12 for each event or £100 for a full Raindance Popcorn Pass (valid for the entire festival not just Web Fest). For ticket info go to: http://raindancefestival.org/tickets/
