Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate Business Development Associate – Sports to join our team to support our growth in the Sport vertical. In this role, you will focus on expanding our presence in the sports vertical, working with every size of Sport Organizations to develop exciting new opportunities for growth on YouTube. This role will give you lots of freedom to experiment strategies for growth while gaining exposure to all types of sport clubs and leagues. It’s fun and result oriented but requires a strong discipline and hard work. If you love sports, YouTube and digital video and content, and have a keen interest in business development, this is the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Use our advanced tools and your creativity to identify and engage potential sports businesses with a YouTube presence.
- Assist in the preparation presentations, reports and proposals, to lead business development efforts.
- Identify, engage and support the development and execution of strategic partnerships within the sports industry.
Requirements
- Ideally 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the sport industry.
- Passion for sports and deep understanding of the sports content landscape.
- Passion for AI & Technology
- Strong understanding of YouTube, and the Sports eco-system.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify potential clients, qualify leads, and build a strong BD pipeline.
- Experience with CRM software like HubSpot
- Ability to assist in crafting compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.
- Experience in attending and organizing events, engaging prospects, and following up effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Full working rights in the UK (we won’t be able to sponsor a VISA)
